Daisy , though young, has lived many lives already. Having moved frequently, in both Canada and the United States, she has worked at several careers and has widely varied interests.

During her adolescent years she lived on a remote homestead on Porcher Island and is happy to live on the North Coast once again, a part of the world that has captured her heart and it is here she feels most at home.

From childhood, she has explored diverse art forms and the creation of mosaic compositions is the latest expression of her artistic sensibility.

Daisy Alicia Randall

These mosaics manifest both emotions and ideas. Daisy’s preference is for rich colours and a diversity of images in concert with and in contrast to each other. Beautiful to look at, her work offers tantalizing glimpses into another world, enlivened by playfulness and a quirky sense of fun. Daisy, when asked to write something for her brochure, wrote: “All art is a true expression of one’s self without words”.

Daisy uses mixed media in her mosaics, including images, verbal as well as pictorial, tiles, found objects, frames, glass, paint, ink and paper.
