Maxine's paintings might accurately be described as a delightful rhapsody of colours. Each of her works shows solid compositional strength and wonderfully harmonious colour technique. The end result is a pleasure to the senses. This artist has developed a style which shows a comfort with the brush, a confident, relaxed, almost impressionist translation of the subject and she does so by observing nature herself.
Maxine spends many hours on location, taking in the scene at hand, producing sketches which form the basis of the final painting.
The scenery which most attracts Maxine is any location which exudes serenity and natural silence, places we would all seek out to help us find peace of mind. Her works succeed at presenting the viewer with precisely that serenity, that silence.
Maxine Moskovicz

Maxine's watercolours are always painted on high-quality, acid free paper, to ensure long life.
